Sucker Brand was first started in 1993′ by Juan Alvarez and Mike Mattox who was the printer for Sucker. At the time Juan was running the brand “25 to life” and Mike saw all the success Juan was having with “25 to life” and wanted to start up another brand which then Juan came up with the name “Sucker Brand” and about two or three weeks later into it Juan decided not to continue with it and told Mike to keep the name “Sucker Brand”. Sucker brand blew up a bit after and Juan was eventually back working with Mike for sucker. Mister Cartoon or “CTOONS” from WCA AWR and SA joined in on Sucker and was doing most of the graphics alongside Juan who was also doing designs for the brand.
