D:VA Clothing (later DVA Clothing and sometimes branded as Devils, Vandals, Angels) was  founded in 1992 in a garage in San Gabriel, California.  They later moved the headquarters to Irwindale before finally settling in Pomona, California. The brand was created by three brothers—Leopoldo, Hugo, and Vulfrano—who drew inspiration from their deep involvement in club promotion and DJing. Together, they combined their individual styles and influences to craft garments that resonated with the eclectic energy of the LA scene.  DVA emerged as a vibrant reflection of Los Angeles subculture. They promoted and showcased their clothing lines at trade shows like ASR in San Diego, wholesaling to retail DJ, skate and graff shops.  They also had booths are local raves and concerts where they did direct retail sales.

Over time, the brothers’ creative visions led them in separate directions. Leopoldo and Hugo established The Globe Clothing Store, which later evolved into Giants Casting Shadows. Vulfrano, on the other hand, founded his own brand, Cultura Y Mas, continuing to explore cultural and artistic themes through fashion.  Leo is also a founding member of Radio Futura.
