Geek Boutique
Founded: 1996

Geek Boutique was a line a club centric streetwear from 1996 to 2005. They put out some incredible pieces. Most of their offerings were very limited quanity and it was a difficult line to find even at the height of their popularity.
Geek Boutique did things right straight out of the gate, hiring a marketing firm to develop their logo, marketing materials, packaging, labels and even their look books.
Geek Boutique had incredible cut and sew pieces. Every single item they released was immaculate with attention to detail. They used high end fabrics, and did custom embroidery of their logo and details on their wide leg rave pants, dresses and other pieces.
Their design aesthetic was future-retro cyber with a touch of Japanese influence. Think “Strange Days” meets “Bladerunner” with some anime and a standard late 90s club kid thrown in.
Geek Boutique pieces are rare theses days because of the limited quantities they released each season, combined with the high price point. Their pieces were always the most expensive of any brand in your typical streetwear/skate/clubkid shop, but when you wore Geek Boutique you got noticed. It was high quality from the materials to the design the branding.
