Fuct
Founded: 1990
Founder: Erik Brunetti
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Most people are familiar with Fuct because of its name. Second, it’s known for the Ford logo rip, but as a streetwear brand, there’s so much more than that. From the beginning, Fuct pushed the boundaries of the streetwear scene with edgy and subversive, anti-establishment themes, including political, social and counter-culture. Combing the name, the themes and explicit and violent imagery of their designs and you had every kid’s mom’s nightmare. For this reason, you’d never see Fuct at any mall shop or department store. It’s was nearly impossible for Fuct to sell out. Over the years, in the 90s and the 00s there were many Fuct ripoffs and even respected and established streetwear brands “borrowed” heavily from Fuct’s influence. Fuct still operates today, and they are still just as respected in the streetwear scene as they were from day one.
