Alien Workshop began in 1990 and gained popularity and respect in the skate scene as well as the streetwear and counter-culture scene very quickly. As a skate company, their primary focus was decks and hardward, but their clothing quickly outsold their hard goods. Theme and graphics featuring aliens, sci-fi, surrealism and conspiracty theories made it popular amongst the entire underground audience. Workshop was a true monster throughout the 1990s and 2000s.

Alien Workshop is still going strong as a brand, even after the brand was sold to a mega-skate conglomerate in 2014. It’s one of the few skate companies that has maintained its solid reputation within the scene for 30+ years.
