Freedumb / Freedumb Clothing / Freedumb Airlines

Founded: 1995
Founder: Dan Drehobl
Location: San Francisco, CA
Freedumb was founded by Dan Drehobl in 1995 as a semi-offshoot of Think Skateboards. Originally called Freedumb Clothing, Dan started drawing “stupid pictures” (his words) from a young age and that was the foundation of a lot of the branding and tee designs for the company. They added a pro team and became a proper skate company by the late 90s and closed shop not long after. In the mid 2010s, Dan relaunched the brand as Freedumb Airlines, making a lot of the tees out of his garage. The second coming lasted about as long as the first. Freedumb was one of the first pro sponsors of a young Ed Templeton.
